TCOLondon x Google ‘Think Quarterly’

Business just got beautiful.

TCOLondon x Google ‘Think Quarterly’

In December 2010, The Church of London was approached by Google with a simple brief: to create space for people to think. The result is Think Quarterly, a new B2B, limited-edition quarterly book that invites thought-leaders to come together to discuss the global mega-trends shaping our world.

It’s a snapshot of the digital future seen through Google’s eyes – a conversation about smart people and cool ideas. And the launch issue is currently landing on the desks of business leaders across the UK.

The first issue focuses on data and was hand-delivered to 1,500 of Google’s UK partners and advertisers in an embossed white box. It features a brain on the cover, sheathed by a red slipcase, which, when removed, reveals a bespoke light bulb made up with units of the recipient’s name.

Inside, there are insightful profiles with leading CEOs, thinkers and business leaders as well as longer opinion pieces from digital superstars exploring current trends, developments and innovations. Vodafone’s Guy Laurence shares his ‘unvital statistics’, the world’s most excited statistician Hans Rosling explains how a fact-based worldview can transform your business and Google’s chief economist Hal Varian sinks his teeth into data obesity.

The book celebrates the physicality of print. There is a golden gatefold in the centre, opening out to reveal an infographic detailing a visual history of data capture. Similarly, a ‘Boris Bike’ pop-up sits snug in the final spread, bursting with stats, facts and correlations.

The print edition is not available to buy. Instead, it will be hand-delivered as a gift to a select list of recipients. Like most companies, Google regularly communicates with business customers via email newsletters, updates on their official blogs, and printed materials, but if you’re interested you can check out all the content on the Think Quarterly website, also designed by TCOLondon.
