Grolsch & LWLies present the Twitter Wall

The current series of the Grolsch & LWLies Presents film club rolled to a close last Tuesday with The Fighter and we invited guests to tweet their thoughts, expectations and reactions before and after the film to a projected screen at the Curzon Soho cinema.

Twitter walls, which found success at cutting-edge cultural gatherings like South By South West (SXSW) in Texas, decentralise communication for a more horizontal conversation and ours in Soho sparked more than a few debates about Christian Bale, cheese and I Heart Huckabees. Before reeling out The Fighter we were privileged to premiere our A Magazine Is Born video, documenting the making-of an issue of Little White Lies, to the rapturous bunch of film aficionados and it was met with hearty applause.

Other exclusives during the Grolsch & LWLies Presents adventure have included interviews with Javier Bardem, a live Q&A with Scott Pilgrim vs The World director Edgar Wright and an introduction from mumblecore superstar John C. Reilly.

The first batch of Grolsch & LWLies Presents films have now run their course but keep your eyes peeled for more events in the future.
