HUCK #31 hits newsstands

There are no heroes on the latest cover of HUCK, there’s simply a Basque Country freesurfer called Stan.

This gas-masked shredder and his scrubbed-out middle finger, which was censored for reasons beyond our control, fronts our No Heroes Issue, which celebrates community over celebrity.

As well as a feature on the Basque Country fun-loving collective of freesurfers, HUCK #31 also introduces a group of cold water waveriders from the Great Lakes and catches up with anti-establishment pro snowboarder-turned-bike courier Scotty Wittlake.

There are also stories on Indian hip hop, big-wave surfer Shane Dorian, radical anti-capitalist mag Adbusters, female snow prodigy Jamie Anderson, the UK rap battle scene, surf jazz twins The Mattson 2 and independent documentaries that rock.
