To mark the fifteenth anniversary of Trainspotting‘s theatrical release, Volkswagen hosted an exhibition and screening, February 2, with an introduction from LWLies editor Matt Bochenski, as part of its See Film Differently campaign.

The film was played to a full house at the Royal Scottish Academy and the director of the Edinburgh Film Festival, James Mulligan, also took to the stage for a few words in praise of Danny Boyle’s breakthrough movie.

After the film, an exhibition of rare photography and original promotional material was held at the Ingleby Gallery.

Little White Lies is a partner with Volkswagen for the See Film Differently campaign. A motivation to do something new and creative, and offer people the kind of perspective that they won’t find anywhere else, drives the collaboration which has also featured a bespoke mini mag.

You can catch an interview with LWLies editor Matt Bochenski on BBC Radio Scotland here.
