Rio Breaks, the feature-length documentary co-produced and written by The Church of London’s Vince Medeiros, premiered at the Tricycle Cinema last Saturday as part of the London International Documentary Festival.
Vince was on hand to introduce the film, sharing with the audience some of the ins and outs of the five-year-long process that took him and director Justin Mitchell into the depths of a Rio de Janeiro favela to follow two best friends united by their love of surfing.
The film, which is scheduled for theatrical release in Latin America this summer, will be available on DVD from September 2010.
