Jamie Brisick has written two books: We Approach Our Martinis With Such High Expectations (Consafos Press, 2002) and Have Board, Will Travel: The Definitive History of Surf, Skate, and Snow (HarperCollins, 2004). His stories have appeared in Huck Magazine, The New York Times, The Guardian, Details, and New York. He is presently writing a memoir about his former life as an emotionally crippled professional surfer. He lives in New York City with his wife and 5’10” Channel Islands Pod.
