Justin Mitchell is an LA-based filmmaker. He is currently working on a documentary looking at the life of Alan Ladd Jr., the below-the-radar movie executive whose numerous accomplishments include giving the greenlight to Star Wars. Also, he’s finishing a documentary with the artist Jenny Lewis that chronicles the recording of her acclaimed album Acid Tongue. He has recently finished a feature documentary, Rio Breaks, which he shot on the beaches and favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
