Michael Fordham by Paul Willoughby

Writer, surfer and part of the rapidly disappearing tribe of old-skool magazine journalists, Michael Fordham cut his teeth in the early nineties as a music hack for titles like The Face and Dazed and Confused. He went on to indulge his obsessions as the features editor for Dazed in 1996, reporting from war-torn Sarajevo, Palestine and Chechnya before launching the global cult surf, skate and snow magazine Adrenalin. He now divides his time between country and city, coastal surf and urban flow, contributing elegiac prose to Huck and many other titles and otherwise cultivating the necessary sources of inspiration for a restlessly creative mind.
