Anywhere Road: Getting Nowhere Faster
We'll be screening Getting Nowhere Faster - a shred movie by female skate-art-film collective Villa Villa Cola on Monday 29 October.
Villa Villa Cola started out as a skateboard company for lady shredders in 1996 but grew into a collective of artists, filmmakers, skateboarders and photographers that work together to produce videos and 'zines that encourage more girls to skate. Getting Nowhere Faster – released in 2004 – is the culmination of eight years of Villa Villa Cola, and features pro skaters like Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, Vanessa Torres and Amy Caron.
