The 1970s

With four online magazines to be released over 2012, Dainese is delving into the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s to showcase the people, places and products that have created legends.

Issue 1 re-introduces Lino Dainese’s dream of creating his own company in the world of motorcycling, highlighting the images and influences from the decade of long hair and groovy shapes.

And with this, we are proud to interview the inspirational Giacomo Agostini, one influence still burning with a passion to race.

But keeping one eye on the present, former world champion Nicky Hayden and freeride mountain bike rider Paul Basagoitia tell us what us it takes to stay at the top.

Continuing the Icons theme from the 2011′s Dainese Presents Speed issue, we look at the legends from the era including Barry Sheene, Johan Cruyff, Muhammad Ali and Dieter Braun.
