Looking Sideways

TCOLondon’s Huck magazine joined forces with Vans Europe and the MadeUp Collective this year to launch Looking Sideways – an ongoing project exploring the fringes of the surf, snow and skate scenes.

The collaboration kicked off with the Looking Sideways festival in Tignes during the European X Games. Huck curated a selection of artists, musicians and creative briefs to coincide with the event, which ran for a week in the French Alps. The event opened with the GPSY Feelin skate crew at our own bespoke mini ramp, followed by a pop-up gallery with photographer James McPhail and artist Schoph Schophield as well as a set from folksy singer/songwriter Ben Howard, the awesome Duke and Gallows spinning records late into the night.
